GUITAR / UKULELE PICKUPS QUESTIONS
GUITAR / UKULELE PICKUPS QUESTIONS
I bought a bridge-mount piezo pickup (NG-1/2, SG-1/2, UK-1/2). The volume of the 1st string is quieter than the volume of the other strings through the amplifier/mixing board/audio interface. What is the cause of this problem?
Which pickup would be better for a 12-string acoustic, the HP-1 or the SP-1?
If my bridge-mount (NG, SG, UK) pickup is too wide to fit properly, can I sand it down just enough to let it lie flat or are there electronics that could be damaged?
Would bridge-mount pickups for steel-string guitar (SG-1/2) work on a resonator-style guitar or would you suggest a different pickup?
I heard that some soundhole-mounted acoustic guitar pickups produce terrible noise when paired with nickel strings. Can I use a KNA SP-1/HP-1 with those strings?
Can I use NG-1 / 2 / 7S / 2 7S if my guitar is strung with bronze-wound nylon strings?
Would an NG-1/2 pickup work on a curved bridge, such as the one on a Cordoba Mini II?
My guitar uses ball-end nylon strings and the bridge uses pins instead of a tie block. Will a NG-1/2 pickup fit properly on this type of bridge?
Are NG-1/2, SG-1/2, UK-1/2 pickups held on by the strings, or do they need adhesive tape to stick them in place?
Is UK-1/2 suitable to use on soprano, concert, tenor and baritone ukeleles?
Will NG-1/2 or SG-1/2 work on a nylon-string or steel-string guitar that's 3/4 size?
My new pickup seems to produce a lot of feedback. How can I stop that from happening?
